14th Annual Daddy Daughter Dance Tickets On Sale Saturday
14TH ANNUAL DADDY DAUGHTER DANCE HAPPENS SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 6 WITH
‘ALICE IN WONDERLAND’ THEME; TICKET SALES BEGIN SATURDAY, JANUARY 9
(January 7, 2010) Don’t be late for this very important date! The City of
Frisco’s 14th Annual Daddy Daughter Dance will have daddies and their
little girls dancing into the pages of a classic children’s story. ‘Alice
in Wonderland’ is the theme of this year’s dance, which happens Saturday,
February 6. Join Alice, the Mad Hatter, TweedleDee and TweedleDum and
many other characters for one of four dance times offered this year in the
ballroom of the Frisco Conference Center, located at 7600 John Q. Hammons
Dr. (next to the Dr Pepper Arena).
The corresponding ages for each dance time are recommendations only, not
restrictions. Tickets are $12 per person, and there are no refunds,
exchanges or ticket replacements. Tickets may be purchased for any of the
dance times; however, daddies and daughters will only be allowed entrance
during the time slot for which they bought a ticket.
Dance Schedule
2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. – ages 4 to 5
4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. – ages 6 to 7
6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. – ages 8 to 9
8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. – ages 10 to 12
Please note that tickets will NOT be sold at the door for this event. You
must purchase your tickets in advance, online or in person, at the Frisco
Athletic Center. Sales begin Saturday, January 9 at 8:00 a.m.
To purchase a ticket online you must have a login ID and password from the
City of Frisco Parks and Recreation Department. Go online to
www.FriscoFun.org and click on the “eFun” image on the home page. Follow
the instructions for ‘Retrieving Your Password & Login ID’ if you are a
Frisco Athletic Center member, or click on ‘Requesting a New Account’ if
you are not already registered. Frisco Athletic Center members or those
who have registered for a Parks and Recreation Department program or class
may already have a login and password. New online accounts may take up to
24 hours to activate.
Walk-in ticket sales begin Saturday, January 9 at 8:00 a.m. at the Frisco
Athletic Center (5828 Nancy Jane Ln.), while they last. All tickets
purchased online must be picked up at the Frisco Athletic Center by 9 p.m.
on Friday, February 5.
Light refreshments will be served at each dance. Music will be provided by
the Motivator DJ. Innovative Images will be at the dance to capture this
memory for daddies and daughters from 1:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. A portrait
package is available for $22. Payment in cash or check is due at the time
of the event.
Free parking is limited at the Embassy Suites Hotel & Frisco Conference
Center. A free shuttle service will be provided from Dr Pepper Ballpark.
Valet service will be available for $8 per vehicle. For more information
